27 Matrinalis - Two young Templars, Ser Arthur and Ser Corrin, arrive at the home of the Avillas, but no resistance is met. A frightened Bethen is coaxed into leaving with the men by her tearful mother, while her father remains stoic.
2 Parvulis - Bethen and her escorts arrive on the shores of Lake Calenhad. She settles into life in Kinloch Hold within the week, and is assigned Enchanter Torrin as her first mentor. The new apprentice quickly strikes up a rapport with Senior Enchanter Sweeney, who begrudgingly encourages her love for the Library.
When Aurin Demarc attempts to bring flowers to Bethen as a gesture of friendship, he gets assaulted by Constans Ledaal and their fellow apprentices.
Late Spring - Spring cleaning in the Tower forces Beth and Constans to work together inside the storage caves of the Laboratory. A simple task takes a dangerous turn when the apprentices are attacked by giant spiders; apparently, saving each other's lives can be the start of a beautiful (albeit odd) friendship.
17 Cassus - The morning after the ceremony is completed, Beth returns to work in the Library. During her afternoon rounds, she enters into a discussion with Alderic, who was present at her Harrowing and responsible for her life.
Nubulis - Constans, bleeding from a deep wound, finds Beth in the early hours of the morning and asks her for help. She heals him and proceeds to cover up the bloody evidence by allowing him to clean up in her room, while fetching him clean robes. On her way to his quarters, Beth runs into Aurin, who is standing guard outside the door, and their brief discussion pokes holes in Constans' story. Bethen allows Constans to rest in her bed for a few hours, but follows him later through the day, only to discover him making an agreement with a Pride Demon. She rushes to the First Enchanter's office and informs him of what she knows. As the Templars are sent to deal with Constans, Bethen prays for him in the chapel. Constans undergoes the Rite of Tranquility. Bethen passes along Constans' notebook, accidentally retrieved when collecting his robes from his room, to Desiderio as a token to remember his brother by, unknowing of the dangerous secrets contained within.
Umbralis - First Enchanter Irving passes away in his sleep. A grand funeral is held in his honor; less than a week after his passing, a big debate is sparked between the Senior Enchanters on choosing someone to replace him.
5 Eluviesta - Grey Warden Commander Alistair arrives at Kinloch Hold and requests as meeting with the First Enchanter and Knight-Commander. It is subsequently announced that the Grey Wardens are seeking volunteers to join their ranks; only the best and brightest will be allowed to undergo the Joining, but they will take others on as supporting forces. After volunteering herself to the cause, Bethen encounters Coan Bryland and his dog, who are exploring the library while she contemplates her future.
6 Eluviesta - The Warden-Commander and his people leave in the early hours of the morning. A decision is reached by Terraster and Cullen; four Mages are ultimately selected to become Grey Warden Recruits -- Lirana, Byron, Emrys, and Bethen. Several Templars are also assigned to the task. They depart the Tower within a few days.
Second Week of Eluviesta - On the road across the Bannorn, the group encounters Sister Deidre Aisli, a friend of both Alderic and Aurin, and set up camp for the evening.
Summerday - The group comprised of Chantry and Circle members arrives at Amaranthine. Just as Beth is prepared to embark on an exploration of the surrounding village with Aurin and Dee, the situation escalate when Ashya gets herself into trouble with a Qunari.
8 Molioris - Bethen goes for a stroll on the Keep's ground, and witnesses Thais Keigwin engaging in what she deems to be an inappropriate activity with Constans. The confrontation between Enchanter and Mage results in a fight. Aurin comes to her rescue after she is humiliated, and after they reconcile their friendship, new feelings arise between them.
11 Molioris - The Warden-Commander and his group of recruits finally returns to Vigil's Keep, where Beth is reunited with Coan. Later on that day, Beth meets Rhocanth Garal for the first time, and helps him gather leaves for his friend's birthday in a very creative way.
12 Molioris - Beth meets Ser Ordhan Wyland and Falina Bjyr while they take a tour of the Keep, where they find her in (where else) the library.
13 Molioris - The Joining Ceremony commences on this evening; of all those who came from the Circle Tower, only Bethen and Alderic survive. In the wake of the event, they discuss their newly shared burden.
14 Molioris - In the early hours of the morning, Beth meets a fellow Grey Warden, Signy Dagna, and the former Circle mage gives the dwarf a crash course in the lessons learned from the Tower. Later on, she finds out her quest destination and works up the nerve to speak with Aurin alone for the first time in a week. A gift is given, another tender moment passes, and cookies are stolen.
15 Molioris - After the mission briefing presented by the Warden-Commander, Bethen seeks Dee's help in finding the right parting gift for their mutual friend. In the early evening, a concerned Beth checks in on Desiderio, only to discover him missing. Though upset by it, she is told to carry on by Mona Seward. Later that night, the former Antivan Crow, Savio Corleoni, comes knocking at her door. Their discussion over wine ends with some tension, but a deal has been made.
16 Molioris - The group headed to Ostagar departs from Vigil's Keep.
18 Molioris - Along the way across the Bannorn, the Wardens and their companions recruit Cadi Seris into their fold after rescuing her from a group of nasty bandits. Later in the evening, the Wardens make camp and are joined by the Ledaal brothers that Bethen hasn't met -- Lukaer and Mathieu, as well as the shapeshifter Garrett Edgewalker. After an awkward introduction, Beth tries to get away to avoid explaining the status of both Constans and Desiderio; a side conversation with a concerned Rhocanth strengthens the Wardens' new bond of friendship.
21 Molioris - The Wardens finally arrive in Lothering, where the party divides up to restock their supply wagons and make plans for boarding in the evening. Shaken by old memories of her hometown, Beth heads to the Chantry in search of answers long awaited.
